We’ve completely rebuilt our website to better reflect the depth and direction of Divergent Network. The new site includes detailed guides, media hubs, and access to roleplay applications, all housed in a sleek and modern layout. This is your central hub for everything Divergent—from community updates to blog posts (like this one), making it easier than ever to stay connected.

A Fresh New Look

Divergent Network has prided itself in being a whitelisted server, however since we are just starting, we have decided to have open enrollment for all of our members. What that means is in the coming days, an announcement will be made that players can join our FiveM Role-Play discord and once they jump in, they will be granted access to the server. We are NOT turning public but we are allowing open enrollment initially. In an effort to welcome more players during the summer season, we’ve temporarily paused the whitelist for civilians. That means no application required—just join the Discord and jump in.

We want to encourage newcomers to explore the server and experience our roleplay environment without the pressure of immediate vetting. It’s a perfect time to bring friends or start new stories with minimal barriers. Before this happens, we are trying to squash any bugs and improve quality of life gameplay features. This is in an effort to have players explore a clean an optimized role-play server.

Open Enrollment Summer

We’re introducing a light economy system—striking a balance between sandbox-style freedom and meaningful progression. Players can now interact with money, items, drugs, and valuables without turning the game into a grind-heavy simulator.

A New Economic Balance

A few players are transporting money in their Gruppe 6 armored truck. The money seen here can be robbed by other criminals so that is why they brought some extra fire power to protect the funds.

This makes your decisions more impactful, your jobs more rewarding, and your interactions with others more dynamic. Whether you’re running a business, working a job, or diving into criminal RP, the light economy creates natural stakes that elevate roleplay.

Speaking of jobs—we’ve expanded and updated them across the board. With the addition of a job center, players can browse available employment options more easily and seamlessly transition between roles. There will be an NPC inside and you simply need to use your third-eye (holding Left Alt) and selecting what sort of job you want to transition to.

Updated Jobs and the New Job Center

Players are getting in line to select their newest job!

With the inclusion of this new job center, we have also revamped a lot of our old jobs and added new ones! From law enforcement and emergency services to criminal organizations and freelance work, every job now feels more structured, interactive, and rewarding.

Our Sonoran CAD system has received a major overhaul, designed to improve realism and functionality for all departments and civilians alike.

New features include:

  • /setid: Create temporary characters quickly for dynamic RP scenarios

  • /showid and /showbadge: Easily display your character’s identity or authority to other players

  • /ts: Describe vehicles in detail using text strings

  • Integrated Radio + Panic Button: A must-have for high-tension police RP

  • Smart Highway Signs: Interactive digital signs for events, emergencies, or traffic control

There are also many more features that will be discussed in a future blog post going in depth on their functionality! All of these features improve communication and make for deeper, more engaging encounters between players.

Enhanced CAD & Communication: Sonoran CAD Upgrades

We have been busy expanding the state of San Andreas with new maps and locations! One of which is updating our San Andreas State Police station! We currently have the headquarters from launch at where the NOOSE HQ used to be located but now we have a new station for patrol officers!

Map Expansions & New Station!

In a future blog posts, we will go in detail exploring all the new maps added to Divergent Network, such as the Cayo Perico island and a new updated East Sandy Shores business district!

Across the board, we’ve added major quality of life improvements to streamline gameplay. From better menus and UI responsiveness to small fixes that remove frustration, every update is meant to improve your experience, even in subtle ways. And this just isn't gameplay updates too, we have done adjustments on the backend of Divergent Network to allow our department management teams and staff teams to operate within Divergent Network more effectively!

Quality of Life Upgrades

Every feature in Divergent Network 2.0 exists because of you. Our development team listens closely to suggestions and criticism, always with the goal of creating a server built for the community, by the community.

These aren’t just updates—they're evolutions guided by your feedback and creativity.

We’re not done. More features, improvements, and surprises are on the way. We will be launching more blog posts in the future going fully in-depth on these features, where you could reference these features from the website later, and speaking up on our future goals for our server and our community! So jump in, bring your character to life, and help shape the next era of Divergent.

Community-First, Always.
